There will be 3 examples for participants to engage with during this session.

1. Dawn will present on 2nd graders utilizing Office 365 in the classroom. Her class has used this tool to make digital timelines. Students uploaded photos and created timelines using Read Write Think. Students shared stories to produce beginning, middle, and end. Students uploaded pictures and produced adjectives to describe them. Then, they produced super sentences for these objects/things. Dawn will teach participants how to easily integrate this tool in elementary level grades.  

2. Christy will present on using a Green Screen for research. Mainly, she has used this for students to produce presentations about animals they have researched during library time. She has experimented with many different apps on tablets and different ways to embed photo and video. Christy will be able to present on ways to integrate this not only in library, but other classroom levels as well.  

3. Kelsey will present on the use of Plickers, a free assessment app in which many teachers are not aware. It is the same concept as digital clickers, but for those who don't have access to smart technology. Kelsey will share how to first use the tool as a teacher, then how to use the tool for small groups. Small groups of students can create their own assessments and utilize Plickers within their small group independently.
